Ways to Support Current and Future Needs

There are many ways to support Power Paws and help enhance current and future programs:

Gifts of Cash, Check or Credit Card Donations provide immediate funds to enhance our programs, services, equipment and operating needs.

Gifts in Memory or in Tribute honor the memory of a loved one or acknowledge people on special occasions, such as birthdays or anniversaries.

Gifts-In-Kind are always welcome, including products or services –such as equipment, program supplies, and dog food – specifically Purina ProPlan Focus.

Our Reporting Policy
To receive a tax credit, a gift-in-kind must meet three criteria:

  • It must be usable.
  • It must have a recognizable dollar value.
  • It must influence a line item in a Power Paws program budget (i.e., it should satisfy a specific need or item identified within the existing program budget).

Gifts of Securities or Other Assets may include appreciated stock, securities, or real estate, which can be sold or invested for the long-term benefit of Power Paws. You may also donate a vehicle to Power Paws through the Donation Line Vehicle Donation website. Click here to go to the website, make sure to select Power Paws Assistance Dogs as the charity name.

Gifts of Thoughtful Planning or Planned Giving are a way to make a significant gift to the Power Paws that may otherwise be impractical. Planned Gifts can be managed through your will or another vehicle, such as a charitable gift annuity, trust, or gift of life insurance. Such gifts may offer a number of advantages, including securing a guaranteed income for you or loved ones, and can earn significant tax advantages.
