Meg, What a great dog. (other than she ate my wife's apple pie this morning). Had her at work the other day. My coworkers and the customers just love her. She alerted on me and when I checked, I was down to 56. I didn't even feel it. Allowed me to get something without effecting my job. Corporate finally agreed to let her there on a trial basis (like they had a choice). I had one manager who was totally against it but even he has now agreed there is not a problem. They have even made her a name tag so everyone knows who she is. Can't thank you enough!!!!
Hi ladies: Just a note to let you know Jeff had a mishap yesterday when attempting to transfer from his truck lift. He is trying to recount the course of events but still a bit fuzzy. To make a long story short. He was lying on the garage floor awakened by wet kisses from a gorgeous red head with brown eyes - yes McGuire. No broken bones but a concussion and a nice hematoma on his lower back along with other various scrapes and bruises. Probable discharge from Chandler Regional tomorrow. I'm looking at investing in bubble wrap. What do you think?!!!!! I'm sure he'll be touching base with the both of you soon
I think the most significant change for Eric is that he has not gone to the school nurse to take any prn or "as needed" anxiety medication nor has he had one panic or anxiety attack at school since he started bringing Mitch.
THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!
Patrick is doing great and he's adjusting very well. We love him and we're so glad he's here!

Kendall has taught himself how to make my new powerchair move by pressing the control knob. At first he just got my attention by doing that, but now he is practicing how to make it go where he wants (toward the treats). He actually teaches himself a lot of things like helping me put the milk away by pushing it up and then back with his nose. He will also lift it out with his teeth. He knows when I'm making coffee that I use the cream and goes straight for that after opening the refrigerator door. He also pretty much remembers where I put things in the fridge so doesn't open the door any more than he has to, as with the cream or juice that I put right at the near edge of the door. His favorite thing though, is to put the laundry in the basket. That is so much fun for him that he wags his tail and wiggles when he helps me dress; he gets very disappointed if I don't want something to go in the basket. Last week I lost my jacket but found it this morning at the bottom of the laundry basket where, apparently, Kendall had put it when I hadn't been looking!
